FAYETTE, Iowa - UIU Women's Track prepares for its second outdoor meet on Monday, April 13, at the Minnesota State Open in Mankato, Minnesota. The meet starts for the Peacocks at 11 a.m., following the 10K race at 10 a.m. at the Mark Schuck Outdoor Track and Field Complex.

LAST TIME OUT
UIU last competed in Dubuque on March 31 at the Loras Easter Mid-Week Invitational. Haylie Hutchinson competed in three events and finished top five in all of them. Hutchinson competed in the 100m hurdles and finished with a time of 16.22 seconds, putting her in fifth place. She took third place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08.51 and third in the triple jump at 10.97m (36' 0").
Aaliyah Comadore competed in the 100m sprints and finished with an impressive time of 12.80 seconds, which was enough to finish second. That was the team's best individual placing of the day. UIU also took second place in the 400m relay; Carolina Regalado, Jillian Dodds, Jasheana Tracey and Aaliyah Comadore combined for a time of 50.18 seconds.
Three Peacocks all ran in the 400m sprint, and all finished in the top six. Jasheana Tracey took home third place with a time of 1:03.55. Right behind Tracey was Eryn Sabelka with a time of 1:03.73. Finishing in sixth place with Cheyanna Thompson-William with a time of 1:06.83.

2025 MINNESOTA STATE OPEN
UIU did not compete in last year's Minnesota State Open, as 10 other schools competed on the women's side of the meet. Minnesota State defended its home track and dominated throughout the event, finishing in first place with a score of 288. The second-place team was Dakota State with a score of 97.
