FAYETTE, Iowa - UIU women's track and field wraps up its indoor season at the GLVC Outdoor Championships in Bolivar, Missouri. The Peacocks will be competing on Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2.

LAST TIME OUT
UIU last competed at the Coe College Rittgers Invitational last Wednesday. In that meet, Haylie Hutchinson finished first in the triple jump at 11.02m (36' 1.75") and in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:06.01.
Jasheana Tracey is coming off a career-best performance in the 100m dash with a time of 12.66 seconds, which earned her second place. She also had a career-best time in the 200m with a time of 26.09 seconds.
Eryn Sabelka posted a career-best time of 1:01.40 in the 400m dash, finishing in fourth place. Cheyanna Thompson-Williams finished in sixth place in the 400m with a time of 1:05.30.
For the throwing events, Gracee Tompkins took fourth place in the shot put at 11.82m (38' 9.25"). Maya White Eagle took ninth place in shot put with a throw of 10.83m (35' 6.5"). She also took sixth in the javelin with a throw of 21.74m (71' 4").
UIU placed second in the 4x100m relay with Carolina Regalado, Tracey, Jillian Dodds and Aaliyah Comadore combining for a time of 49.84 seconds.
MEET INFORMATION
The 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships will take place at Plaster Stadium on the campus of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, April 30-May 2.
Thursday's action starts at 2 p.m. with the decathlon events and men's hammer throw. Upper Iowa will not have any athletes competing on Thursday.
Friday's events start at 9 a.m. with UIU's first event at 11 a.m. in the shot put. Running events start at 3:30 p.m. with the 100m hurdles.
Action wraps up on Saturday with field events starting at 9 a.m. with the women's discus and running events starting at 11 a.m., with the women's 4x100m.

2025 GLVC CHAMPIONSHIP
Last season, the Peacocks placed 11th scoring seven points as a team. Hutchinson placed in the top 10 in three events. She started by placing eighth in the triple jump with a score of 11.19m. She placed seventh in both 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles.
Hutchinson, Kehano, Dodds and Regalado competed in the 4x100m relay and ran a time of 51.15 seconds, which earned them seventh place. In the 4x400m relay, Hutchinson, Dodds, Sabelka, and Tracey placed 10th after running a time of 4:10.79.
Last year, Lewis captured its ninth consecutive GLVC Championship, extending its league-record total to 15. The Flyers scored 225 points to beat Lincoln (Mo.) in second place with 129.
