FAYETTE, Iowa - Upper Iowa women's track and field heads to Cedar Rapids for the Coe College Rittgers Invitational on Wednesday, April 22. The meet takes place at Clark Field with field events starting at 2:30 p.m. and track events starting at 5 p.m.
The Peacocks will be one of six teams competing at the meet. Coe, Mount Mercy, Quincy (Ill.), Loras and Dubuque will also be at the invitational.

Gracee Tompkins and Aaliyah Comadore each tallied second-place finishes to help the Peacocks finish sixth as a team at the Culver-Stockton Wildcat Invite on Saturday. Comadore finished second in the long jump at 5.25m (17' 7.25") and Tompkins finished second in the shot put with a throw of 11.09m (36' 5.75"). She also took sixth with a career-best discus throw of 33.26m (109' 2").
Haylie Hutchinson took fifth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.89 seconds and in the triple jump at 10.97m (36' 0"). She also had a sixth-place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:09.64.
Jasheana Tracey had a career-best time in the 200m with a time of 26.22 seconds. Eryn Sabelka tallied a seventh-place finish in the 400m at 1:03.11. Maya White Eagle scored eighth in the shot put at 10.14m (33' 3.75"). UIU's 4x100m team of Carolina Regalado, Jillian Dodds, Maile Kehano and Comadore took fourth with a time of 52.15 seconds.
Washington University (Mo.) won the tournament with 201 team points. GLVC foe Truman State (Mo.) took second with 105.5 points and Central Methodist (Mo.) came in third at 59 points. Quincy (Ill.) placed fourth at 47 points.

2025 COE COLLEGE RITTGERS INVITATIONAL
Upper Iowa won last season's Rittgers Invitational with 142 points, defeating Mount Mercy in second with 139 points. The Peacocks tallied four first-place finishes, with Hutchinson taking first in the 100m hurdles and the triple jump. Jordan Sekafetz finished first in the long jump, and Regalado took first in the 100m dash.
UIU's second-place finishers included Sekafetz in the 100m hurdles, Dodds in the 100m, Myah Brinker in the shot put and javelin, Kiana Maghanoy in the hammer and Bailey Nordyke in the long jump. 10 different Peacocks scored points for the team across events, with 22 total top-eight placements.
