FAYETTE, Iowa - Upper Iowa women's track and field stays in the state for the Grinnell Invitational on Saturday at 10 a.m. The meet takes place in the Grinnell Field House.

LAST TIME OUT
Upper Iowa competed this past weekend at the Hilltop Invitational. Haylie Hutchinson tallied the team's best finish of the day, taking second in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.61 seconds. 

The Upper Iowa 4x400m team, consisting of Jillian Dodds, Jasheana Tracey, Eryn Sabelka and Hutchinson, took fourth out of 11 teams with a time of 4:18.22. Freshman Aaliyah Comadore grabbed a seventh-place finish in the 60m with a time of 8.29 seconds. Tracey also had a seventh-place finish in the 400m with a time of 1:05.9.

MEET INFORMATION
Field Events start at 10:30 a.m., with running events starting at 12:15 p.m. with the 3000m. It is projected to end at 6:30 p.m. after the 4x400m relay. 

Teams competing at the event include Buena Vista, Central, Clarke, Culver Stockton, Faith Baptist, Graceland, Grinnell, Iowa Track Club, Knox (Ill.), Monmouth (Ill.), Mt. Mercy, Simpson and William Penn.

2025 GRINNELL INVITE
Hutchinson had a phenomenal day at last season's Grinnell Invitational. She tallied two first-place finishes, coming in the triple jump and 400m. Hutchinson also took third in the 60m hurdles. 

Tracey added a fourth-place finish in the 400m while Jordan Sekafetz finished in fourth in the 60m hurdles. Myah Brinker added a ninth-place finish in the weight throw.

Grinnell won last season's meet with 172 points. Illinois College took second, and Monmouth finished in third.
