FAYETTE, Iowa - The Upper Iowa women's track and field team makes its second stop of the indoor season at Cornell College for the Hilltop Invite. Action is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Richard & Norma Small Athletic & Wellness Center on Saturday, Jan. 24.

LAST TIME OUT
The Peacocks competed this past Saturday at the Chelsey Henkenius Invitational. Haylie Hutchinson led the team, taking first in the triple jump at 10.68m (35' 5") and posting a career-best mark of 4.95m (16' 3") in the long jump. 

Eryn Sabelka added a third-place finish in the 400m with a time of 1:05.25.  Freshman Naiya Pickett finished 12th in the long jump at 4.26m (13' 11.75"). Freshman Cheyanna Thompson-Williams ran a 2:04.46 600m to place 14th.

MEET INFORMATION
Upper Iowa is one of eight teams at the meet which includes Augustana (Ill.), Cornell College, Culver-Stockton (Mo.), Grinnell College, Grand View, Mount Mercy and Dubuque. 

Field events start at 9:30 a.m. with the pole vault, high jump, long jump, triple jump, weight throw and shot put. Running events begin at 10:30 a.m. starting with the 60m hurdles and dashes.

2025 HILLTOP INVITE
UIU scored 28 points to place sixth at last season's Hilltop Invite. Hutchinson posted a first place finish in the 200m with a time of 27.32. She added a sixth-place finish in the 60m with a time of 8.26 seconds. 

Tracey added a sixth-place finish in the 400m with a time of 1:08.64. Regalado finished in seventh in the 60m with a time of 8.28 seconds. Jordan Sekafetz placed fourth in the 60m hurdles and Myah Brinker took fourth in the weight throw. 

Grinnell won the invite with 129 points. Cornell took second with 117 points and Culver-Stockton took third with 92 points.
