Upper Iowa Vice President for Athletics Rick Hartzell announced an immediate change to the leadership of the Peacock volleyball program.
 
"As of today, Jim Dietz has resigned from his position as the head volleyball coach for personal reasons," said Hartzell. "Sarah Hull, our current assistant, has been named interim head volleyball coach for the remainder of the season, and she has our full support for the final two months of matches. The student-athlete experience is our primary focus at Upper Iowa. Each student-athlete that puts on a Peacock uniform should feel that their best is good enough despite the score at the end of the match."
 
The Peacock volleyball team hosts their first GLVC matches of the season in Dorman Memorial Gymnasium this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26 and 27.
