The Peacocks' (7-6, 0-0 NSIC) string of cancelled games due to the late winter weather in the Midwest has reached eight games after Friday's double header with St. Cloud State has been stricken from the schedule due to field conditions.  Upper Iowa is still hoping to play the Huskies on Saturday at Robertson Woods Field so those two games are still scheduled for now.

Upper Iowa was slated to face off with the Marauders of the University of Mary in a four-game set to christen the 2013 NSIC season last weekend and were to take the diamond again this past Wednesday in a non-conference double dip with Lewis University.  None of the games will be made up. 

Following this weekend, UIU will be at home on Wednesday, Apr. 3, against the Wolves of Northern State University at noon and then head to Kearney, Neb. for a weekend series against the Lopers of the University of Nebraksa-Kearney on Apr. 6-7.
