DIXON, Ill. - Upper Iowa women's cross-country raced in the Skyhawk Invitational hosted by Sauk Valley Community College (Ill.) on Saturday morning. UIU finished second in the meet. 

The top 15 runners at the meet received a t-shirt. Eryn Sabelka and Katie Kraft each earned a top-10 finish. Sabelka placed sixth in the race with a time of 22:26.00 and Kraft placed 10th with a time of 22:56.00.

Lisbeth Trinidad-Valerio finished with a time of 26:49.00, while Cheyanna Thompson-Williams finished in 29:40.00 and Rio Johnson finished with a time of 32:18.00. 

Upper Iowa totaled 59 points. North Central (Ill.) won the invite with a total of 15 points and had the top five runners in the race. Giselle Alicia took first with a time of 21:11.00.'

The Peacocks will compete in their final regular-season meet next Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Trojan Invite hosted by Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.).
