FAYETTE, Iowa - Peacock women's cross-country heads to Hannibal, Missouri, on Saturday, Oct. 11th, to compete in the third annual Trojan Invitational hosted by LaGrange-Hannibal (Mo.). The meet will take place at the HLGU cross-country course.
LAST TIME OUT
Eryn Sabelka led Upper Iowa to a second-place finish in the Skyhawk Invitational. She finished sixth individually with a time of 22:26.
Teammate Katie Kraft finished in 10th place after finishing the race in 22:56.00. Both she and Sabelka earned T-shirts for their finishes.
Lisbeth Trinidad-Valerio finished with a time of 26:49.00, while Cheyanna Thompson-Williams finished in 29:40.00 and Rio Johnson finished with a time of 32:18.00.
ABOUT THE INVITATIONAL
The 5K course record is 21:11.9, set by Kasey Moreno of Judson (Ill.) in 2023. This year, the top team earns a plaque, and the top 15 runners receive medals.
Fans should note that both main entrances to HLGU's campus will be closed during the event. Spectators should enter from Wyaconda Street to Muir Street and park on campus.
