The Upper Iowa softball program is hosting a Hit-A-Thon this weekend on Sep. 9 from 12-2 p.m. at the Eischeid Softball Complex. Think you have what it takes to hit some dingers? Come test your skills as $5 grants you one swing, $20 for five swings or $40 for 15 swings. You also have the option to sponsor a UIU softball player to take swings for you. This option gives the opportunity of $10 for one swing, $20 for three swings or $40 for ten swings. All participants receive a coozie!
 
There will be a silent auction happening during the event with winners announced at 2 p.m. Following the festivities at the softball diamond, the UIU football team is set to host St. Ambrose in their home opener at 3 p.m. Come out and enjoy a beautiful action-packed day while supporting Peacock softball!
