Upper Iowa University Athletics

We've had a great fall here in Fayette, and the coaching staff and student-athletes have worked hard to come together as a team and family. We are excited about our second season in the Great Lakes Valley Conference this spring and all the new venues we will travel to. It always feels good to hop on a bus and head south to compete!

The support of Upper Iowa softball has been unbelievable. Over the last two Peacock Power 24-Hour Challenges, your generosity was unparalleled and provided so many pieces of equipment and experiences for our student-athletes.

We are here again today, to ask for your support again as we set off on our second year chasing a GLVC Championship. Thanks to your donations, we are able to provide a first-class experience for our players. As the ONLY Division II program in Iowa, we have a unique opportunity to show people what an NCAA Division II softball is all about. 

Your donation will allow us to make huge strides in our program. Your generosity will significantly impact the success of our softball program and will go toward the following needs and goals.

Softball Needs

• Non-Conference Trips - A top priority is to give our players a great college athletic experience while being competitive. We are looking to stagger our destination trips while allowing us to take more weekend trips to play good competition in various regions! 
• Winter/Dugout Coats – Being an outdoor sport has its ups and downs, but the key to staying warm in Iowa is staying warm! We want to purchase new winter/dugout coats that can be functional while keeping our student-athletes warm and ready to compete! 
• Facility Upgrades - Eischeid Softball Complex has a phenomenal foundation and location. However, we are looking to make some cosmetic upgrades to our fences and dugouts to make our home beautiful again! 
• Field Screens - We will use these nearly daily in the PAAC and on the field. They will assist us in running efficient practices while ensuring safety. We need multiple L and I screens, as well as big field screens.
