The Peacocks picked up one win in the singles matches as Tavares conquered MSU's Daria Podmogilnaia in the No. 3 spot with scores of 6-7 (8), 6-1, 0-1 (7). After that victory, the Peacocks were unable to come out on top in the rest of their duals that day.
