The Peacocks traveled to Kirksville, Mo. for a non-conference matchup with Truman State University. Upper Iowa fell in a 6-1 decision, dropping to 0-10 on the season while TSU improved to 10-7 for the year.

UIU dropped the point in the doubles competition after both Peacocks teams were defeated in their matches. Johanne Vallee and Rafaela Tavares competed in the No. 1 slot and put up a tough battle, but ultimately fell to their opponents Samatha Seggerman and Julia Fangman in a 7-6, 7-4 decision. Varvara Ogorogdnikova and Katie O'Brian dropped their No. 2 competition to Sydney Dial and Akansha Negi in a 6-0 final. Upper Iowa forfeited the No. 3 doubles match.

In the singles competition, Upper Iowa picked up one point, but fell in the remainder of their duels. Ogorogdnikova was downed at the No. 1 spot by Akansha Negi in a 6-2, 6-1 result. Tavares picked up UIU's only win of the day as she defeated Kennidy Shirey in the No. 2 slot with a score of 6-1, 6-1. Vallee was competitive against Sydney Dial in the No. 3 singles, but fell in the tiebreaker set. She won the first set 6-5, but then dropped the next two 6-4, 10-5. Abbi Worster, Samatha Seggerman and Julia Fangman each picked up a point by forfeit in No.4-6 singles.

Upper Iowa returns to conference play next week as they take on two NSIC teams to wrap up the regular season. They face Minnesota State Moorhead on Saturday, April 15 and University of Mary on Sunday, April 16.
