The Peacocks had a double-digit lead against SMSU in the first half that dwindled when they endured a four-minute scoring drought with nine minutes remaining in the game. Noah King, but still trailed by eight (94-86) with two minutes to go. CSP converted nine free throws in the final stretch to end the game ahead by a comfortable margin.
