THIS WEEKEND IN PEACOCK LACROSSE… Upper Iowa (0-5, 0-3 GLIAC) returns home for a second game in Fayette as they welcome the Golden Bears of Concordia University, St. Paul (4-8, 0-3 GLIAC) to Harms-Eischeid Stadium for a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference at 6 p.m. Both teams are hunting their first conference win of the 2022 season.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS… Upper Iowa has scored 17 goals in their five games this season with five assists. The Peacocks have placed 68.4% of their shot attempts on frame and are averaging 11.4 shots a game. Opponents have scored 119 goals with 50 assists on 42.4 shot attempts per contest.
Morgynn Spears and
Maya Chesky are leading the Peacocks with nine and eight points, respectively. Spears has a team-high seven goals with one conversion from a free-position shot, while Chesky has six goals with two free-position scores; both Peacocks have recorded a pair of assists.
Bailee Fabert and
McKenzie Mohlencamp have scored two goals each, while Fabert has one assist on the year.
Izzy Kaczik has recorded 49 saves in the net for UIU with her high-mark of 14 coming at Missouri Western State University.
ABOUT THE GOLDEN BEARS... Concordia-St. Paul comes into the match with a 4-8 record overall and an 0-3 mark in the GLIAC after losses to Northern Michigan (16-11), No. 10 Grand Valley State University (17-5), and No. 23 Davenport University (12-10). The Golden Bears opened the season with four wins in their first six matchups including a 20-5 win against Quincy University and a 13-8 win over Missouri Western State University. CSP is averaging just over 10 goals on 25.7 shots per game, but has allowed nearly 12 goals per game on 31.6 shots. A trio of players lead the offense and have posted more than 30 points so far this year. Delaney Davidson has 32 goals with six assists, while Molly Moynihan has 18 goals on 19 assists. Maddy Seifert is the third Golden Bear with impressive offensive numbers scoring 28 goals with four assists. In goal, Candace McDole has played in 11 games, while starting nine, and has pulled in 86 saves.
