In today's virtual interview, Pete the Peacock gets to know UIU tennis'
Deimante Krivickaite. Originally from Vilnius, Lithuania, Deimante is a sophomore who came to Fayette two years ago from Vilnius Lyceum. She is majoring in finance.
PETE: What made you want to be a collegiate student-athlete?
DEIMANTE: I wanted to get a degree and keep playing the sport I love
PETE: What have you learned about what it takes to be a student-athlete?
DEIMANTE: It takes discipline, time management and hard work
PETE: What is your favorite way to de-stress?
DEIMANTE: I like to scream at people
PETE: What advice would you give to your 14-year old self?
DEIMANTE: People will come and leave (get in peace with that)
PETE: What is something most people don't know about you?
DEIMANTE: I can speak five languages
PETE: What is your favorite thing about your hometown?
DEIMANTE: The diversity
PETE: How do you want to be remembered?
DEIMANTE: As a hard-working person
PETE: What's the best thing that has happened to you in the last week?
DEIMANTE: I finished my classes

DEIMANTE: Go to Madagascar, learn German, and get a German Shepherd and name him Adolf

DEIMANTE: Pro tennis player (I always wanted to be one)

DEIMANTE: My grandfather (he died too early and I wish he could get to know me right now rather than the little girl), David Bowie (I love his music), Winston Churchill (I find him very interesting)
PETE: What is your most memorable sports moment?
DEIMANTE: Winning my first tournament when I was 12

DEIMANTE: Severus Snape because I'm a Slytherin

DEIMANTE: Cold beetroot soup

DEIMANTE: Juodkrante, I used to spend my childhood summers there - I wish I could go back there to jump over the waves of the Baltic Sea

DEIMANTE: Free education, required math courses (including Calculus), and the requirement to learn a second language from the start of the elementary school
