Box Score The Peacock tennis team wrapped up their fall schedule with a dual at Luther College on Saturday. The Norse defeated the Peacocks 7-2 in Decorah, Iowa.
Luther won all three doubles matches. Devon Bourget and Shelby Cook outlasted UIU's
Shakhnaza Zhanatova and
Deimante Krivickaite 8-5 in the match at No. 1. Luther scored wins by counts of 8-2 and 8-0 at No. 2 and No. 3.
In singles play, Luther controlled the matches at No. 3, 4, 5 and 6, but Upper Iowa got their two points in the dual at No. 1 and 2. Zhanatova defeated Bourget 6-3, 6-2 and Krivickaite outplayed Cook 6-2, 6-2.

In doubles, we made tactical mistakes that we could have avoided, but it is a good learning experience for us as we keep developing our double teams. In the singles matches, we got great wins at 1 and 2 and the rest of the team got some good match experience and are continuing to improve. Overall we just need to be a little more consistent. Today we played a really solid team in Luther. We need to keep working hard at practice and use this match to continue growing as a team." -
