| Box Score 2 The Peacock women's tennis season came to an end over the weekend in Winona, Minn. Upper Iowa lost a final pair of duals against Northern Sun Conference foes to close out their 2017-18 campaign with a 1-12 mark overall and a 1-10 record in the conference. UIU lost to the Dragons of Minnesota State University Moorhead 9-0 on Saturday and the Marauders of the University of Mary 6-3 on Sunday.
 
The Dragons improved to 14-2 overall and 9-1 in the Northern Sun claiming all seven matches played in the dual and adding the final two points on a Peacock forfeit at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
 
The Marauders improved to 6-9 overall and 4-7 in the Northern Sun claiming a spot in the Northern Sun Conference Tournament with their 6-3 win over the Peacocks. UMary and Upper Iowa split decisions in the first two doubles matches with UIU claiming an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles behind the teamwork of Shakhnaza Zhanatova and Anna Okolot. The Marauders had a 2-1 lead heading into the singles action thanks to a win by forfeit at No. 3 doubles. Zhanatova earned a hard fought win at No. 1 singles and Okolot followed with a dominant performance at No. 2. UIU had their chance at No. 4 and No. 5, but a pair of third set tiebreakers went to UMary to push the Marauders to a 6-3 win. Lavanya Singh and Breanna Heichert just missed in their three set matches.
