| Box Score 2 The Peacock women's tennis team took on a pair of Northern Sun Conference teams over the weekend. Upper Iowa lost a 9-0 decision to the Vikings of Augustana University on Saturday evening and a 7-2 dual to the Cougars of the University of Sioux Falls. The losses dropped UIU's record to 1-10 overall and 1-8 in the Northern Sun.
 
On Saturday, the Vikings dominated the doubles action winning No. 1 and 2 doubles by 8-0 counts and picked up the third doubles match by forfeit to claim a 3-0 lead heading to the singles action. Augustana controlled the matches at No. 1, 3, 4 and 5 and scored a win by forfeit at No. 6 singles. Anna Okolot lost a pair of hard fought sets to Grace Gobie at No. 2, but the Peacock dropped the match 6-3, 6-4.
 
In Sunday morning's dual, Okolot paired with Shakhnaza Zhanatova at No. 1 doubles to score an 8-4 win over the Cougars top doubles team. USF won No. 2 doubles by an 8-1 score and took No. 3 doubles by forfeit. Okolot claimed the second point for UIU at No. 2 singles with a 6-2, 6-1 against Megan Quandt. The Cougars controlled the matches at No. 1, 3, 4 and 5 singles and scored the final point with a forfeit at No. 6.
 
The Peacocks will have a couple of weeks until they return to the court to close out the regular season. Upper Iowa will take on the University of Mary on Saturday, Apr. 7 at 12:30 p.m. and then face Minnesota State University Moorhead on Sunday, Apr. 8 at 9 a.m. Both duals will take place in Winona, Minn.
