KEY NOTES TO CONSIDER
1 Â Â Â FLOODING THE RECORD BOOK:Â Upper Iowa is in the midst of one of the greatest individual offensive seasons in school history from first baseman and pitcher
Jacqueline Flood. Flood broke the single-season record for RBI's with 44 last week and now holds the career record for RBI's with 102. Flood is also hitting .433 for the season, which is the third best mark all-time, and just four hits away from the single-season hits mark. Her 38 runs are three away from the Upper Iowa record in a season and her 7 home runs are tied for seventh in UIU single-season history.
Â
2    SCORING AT A PREMIUM:  The Peacocks scored in double digits three times last week and scored eight in another game. UIU averaged seven runs per game over the past four double headers, almost three runs more per game than its season average of 4.08 runs per game over the first 37 games of the year. 3    SENIOR SEND OFF: UIU will give a final farewell to three everyday players over the past few years this weekend on Senior Day.
Katie Mnichowicz and
Whitney Williams will leave as number one and two all-time in games played at Upper Iowa, while
Shelby Crist has been a constant behind the plate for Peacocks, playing in all 93 games during her time at UIU, making 91 starts.
