GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team was released on Tuesday. Dani Laughlin, Sara Reid, Cara Farnam, Kaitlin Foral and Addyson Alber all received Academic All-District honors.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically and athletically and maintain a 3.50 or higher grade point average. In softball, eligible student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's contests. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 16, 2026.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
