2014: Played in 48 games and made 47 starts... hit .271 with 38 hits, including four doubles and one triple... scored 16 runs and knocked in nine RBI's... stole six bases on seven attempts... had nine multi-hit games, including three in a row from Apr. 26 through May 1... had a three-hit game against Southern Nazarene on Feb. 16...  compiled a .965 fielding percentage

Personal: Shelby Crist, a 5-5 catcher and outfielder from Ely, Iowa, transferred to UIU after completing her second year at Kirkwood Community College. The multi-position player went to Kirkwood following a great career in softball, volleyball, track and basketball at Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids.

As a senior in high school, Crist hit .331 with 40 hits and added 9 walks and 17 stolen bases. At Kirkwood, she improved her hitting and posted a .393 average with 66 hits and added 23 stolen bases and 22 runs batted in to help the Eagles claim a 43-13 record.

Shelby is the daughter of Mike and Chris Crist and is majoring in Exercise and Sports Studies at Upper Iowa.
