The Peacock tennis program opened their spring season with an NSIC match in Sartell, Minn. Upper Iowa dominated their match up with the Golden Eagles of the University of Minnesota, Crookston, 9-0. UIU did not drop a set on the night and only lost 10 games, while posting wins in 96 of the games.
Upper Iowa will travel to Owatonna, Minn. next Saturday for a pair of matches. The Peacocks will face the University of Sioux Falls at 1 p.m. and then line up with the Marauders of the University of Mary in another NSIC contest at 4 p.m.
