Hopp claimed the 285-pound title at the Auggie-Adidas Open with a 3-0 record. The redshirt junior improved to 4-0 on the season with three wins by major decision on Saturday; all four of his victories have come by major decision. Hopp has outscored his opponents 57-18 in his four matches this season.

The team is at home on Tuesday against Waldorf University at 7 p.m.
