FAYETTE, Iowa - Peacock men's golf closes out their season at the GLVC Men's Golf Championship, which tees off on Wednesday. The championship takes place at Rock Hollow Golf Club.
LAST TIME OUT
Upper Iowa competed in the Iowa Central Spring Invite on April 10-11. The team placed fourth overall with a score of 584. Jack Miller finished a career best third-place with a score of 141 (-1). He shot a career-low 70 (-1) on the second day of the tournament.
Ethan Anderson and Owen Davison tied for 10th, shooting 144 (+2). Ethan Cahalan and Joseph Grau tied for 32nd, scoring 149 (+2).
Christian Burkhart tied for 34th, totaling 150 (+8). Jaxx Johnson tied for 46th, shooting 153 (+11). Jayden Rios tied for 75th, scoring 159 (+17).
MEET INFO
The GLVC Men's Golf Championship takes place on April 22-24. The first two days of the championship feature a 54-hole stroke-play event, with the top individual golfer awarded a medal. Wednesday will feature 36 holes of golf, while stroke play wraps up on Thursday with 18 holes. The semifinals and finals of match play take place on Friday, April 24.
There are 12 other teams participating: Lewis (Ill.), Quincy (Ill.), Maryville (Mo.), UIndy, Missouri S&T, Missouri-St. Louis, William Jewell (Mo.), Drury (Mo.), Illinois-Springfield, Rockhurst (Mo.), McKendree (Ill.) and Lincoln (Mo.).
The GLVC Men's Golf Championships will once again be streamed live on all GLVC Sports Network (GLVCSN) platforms, including GLVCSN.com, iOS/Android mobile apps, and Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV OTT apps. A complete schedule will be announced during Championship week.
The Rock Hollow Golf Club is an 18-hole par 72 course built in 1995. It was voted the No. 8 best public golf course in Indiana by Golf Digest in 2021-22.
2025 GLVC Championship
Indianapolis upset top-seeded Missouri-St. Louis, 4-1, in match play to advance to the finals. Missouri S&T beat Lewis, 4-1, in the semifinals to advance to the finals. Missouri S&T beat UIndy, 4-1, to secure its first-ever GLVC Championship.
Cody Donovan of Lewis won the tournament individually, shooting 210 (-6). Cameron Young of Indianapolis took second, scoring 213 (-3). Cole Komyati of Missouri S&T and Trigg Lindahl of Missouri-St. Louis tied for third, totaling 214 (-2).
UIU placed 12th in the tournament with a score of 919 (+55). Miller had the best individual performance, placing 37th with a score of 226 (+10). Davison followed suit, placing 41st with a score of 228 (+12).
