GREENWOOD, Ind. - Upper Iowa's Collin Altensey, Christian Burkhart, Jack Miller and Dawson Schmit were named on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Team on Tuesday.
The CSC Academic All-District® At-Large teams honor men's student-athletes across the country who compete in various sports, including fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo and wrestling. CSC Academic All-America® At-Large teams will be announced on Wednesday, July 8.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically while accumulating a 3.50 grade point average or above. For golf, eligible nominees must be in the lineup for 75% of an institution's team scoring events or in the lineup at the conference championship tournament. For wrestling, eligible nominees must be in the lineup for at least 75% of team scoring events or compete in their weight class at a conference championship meet.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.

Christian Burkhart (Jr., Urbana, Iowa / Center Point-Urbana HS)
- CSC Academic All-District®
- Averaged a score of 76.9
- Totaled one top 10 finish and five top-30 finishes
- Shot a season-best 144 (E) to finish fifth at the Wartburg Spring Invite (3/28-29)
- Posted a 27th-place finish at the Jewel Invitational (9-22/23) after shooting 146 (+2) with a 70 (-2) in the second round
Jack Miller (So., Jesup, Iowa / Jesup HS)

- GLVC Men's Golfer of the Week (4/15)
- Tallied a scoring average of 77.4
- Posted two top-five finishes in the spring with a 17th-place finish at the Wartburg Spring Invite (3/28-3/29)
- Recorded a career-best third place finish at the Iowa Central Spring Invite (4/10-11) with a career-best score of 141 (-1)
- Registered a sixth-place finish at the Upper Iowa Spring Invite (4/4)
Dawson Schmit (133, R-So., Readlyn, Iowa / Wapsie Valley HS)

- Totaled a 16-14 record and had 34 takedowns
- Finished fourth at the Auggie Invite (11/22)
- Totaled a 3-2 record in GLVC regular season action
- Picked up a win against UIndy at the GLVC Championships (2/15)
