INDIANAPOLIS - Sienna Johnson was named the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week. The freshman goalkeeper earned the honor after shutting out Southwest Minnesota State and Jamestown (N.D.).
Johnson becomes the program's first GLVC Player of the Week for women's soccer. This is the team's first conference player of the week since Jamie Kerkvliet in 2022.
The Peacocks hold a 2-1-1 record after picking up two victories over the weekend with Johnson's shutouts. UIU begins conference play this weekend, first on the road against UIndy and then at home against Lewis (Ill.).
