GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic-All District® Team was released on Tuesday. Upper Iowa's Haylee Allen, Stephany Castillo, Haylie Hutchinson, Aeryn Hatico, Natalie Lima and Melanie Mejia were selected for the award.
The Peacock women's soccer team reached the maximum number of honorees at six. The Academic All-America® teams will be revealed on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically while accumulating a 3.50 grade point average or above. In soccer, eligible student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches player or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Dec. 16, 2025 (men) and Dec. 17, 2025 (women).
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
#25 Haylee Allen (MF, 5-4, Jr., Bakersfield, Calif. / Frontier HS)
- Started all 18 games for the Peacocks this season
- Scored two goals and totaled 16 shots with nine on goal
- Knocked a goal in the win against Jamestown (N.D.) (9/14)
- Totaled 1,321 minutes played this season, the fourth most on the team
#9 Stephany Castillo (D, 5-6, Jr., Bakersfield, Calif. / West HS)
- Played in 15 games with 14 starts
- Totaled five shots with three on goal
- Played 1,243 minutes for the Peacocks this season
#23 Haylie Hutchinson (F, 5-6, Jr., La Quinta, Calif. / La Quinta HS)
- Started in all 18 games for Upper Iowa
- Tied for the team lead in points with seven
- Led UIU in assists with three, shots with 22 and shots on goal with 14
- Added two goals, including the game winner in the season finale vs. Illinois Springfield
- Tallied 1,452 minutes this season, the third most on the team
#29 Aeryn Hatico (MF, 5-2, Jr., Pearl City, Hawaii / Pearl City HS)
- Played in all 18 games this season with eight starts
- Tallied seven shots with four on goal
- Played 814 minutes for the Peacocks this season
#18 Natalie Lima (D, 5-9, Sr., Santa Maria, Calif. / St. Joseph HS)
- Tallied 16 starts and played all 18 games
- Was second on the team in minutes played with 1,574
- Added five shots with two shots on goal
#10 Melanie Mejia (F, 5-6, Jr., Palmdale, Calif. / Highland HS)
- Played in every game for Upper Iowa with 14 starts
- Secured an assist with a season-high two shots against William Jewell (Mo.)
- Recorded six shots with three shots on goal
- Tallied 1,242 minutes played
