KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Upper Iowa men's basketball (8-1) earned the No. 24 ranking in Tuesday's National Association of Basketball Coaches Association (NABC) poll. UIU received 44 total points in the poll.
This is the first time in over a year that the Peacocks have been ranked within the top 25. UIU was last ranked No. 25 on Dec. 10, 2024. This marks the first time that Upper Iowa has been ranked under first-year head coach Casey Kasperbauer.
Missouri S&T (7-1, 2-1 GLVC) is the only other GLVC team that's included in the NABC poll. The Miners moved up to No. 10 after being ranked No. 12 last week. On Dec. 6, the Peacocks handed S&T its first loss of the season.
Upper Iowa concludes 2025 by matching up with Roosevelt (Ill.) (0-6) on Friday at 3 p.m. UIU last beat the Lakers, 88-76, in the Midwest Region Crossover on Nov. 15.
