THIS WEEK IN PEACOCK OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD… Upper Iowa travels to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for consecutive meets. The Peacocks will compete in the DeBacker Invitational on Saturday, Apr. 20 at 11 a.m. and the Rittgers Invitational on Wednesday, Apr. 24 with field events starting at 2 p.m. and track events beginning at 5 p.m.

FLYING HIGH AT SMU… The Peacocks are coming off a very successful tournament at the Saint Mary's Invitational where they finished first place in six events.
Haylie Hutchinson competed in two individual as well as two team events, and she accumulated a first-place finish in all four events. Hutchinson completed the 100m hurdles in 15.77 and she added a 400m hurdles victory in 1:12.96. Hutchinson joined
Jillian Dodds,
Leah Ries and
Jordan Sekafetz in the 4x100m relay, which they finished in 51.18.
Eryn Sabelka and
Mackenzie Rader joined Dodds and Hutchinson in their 4x400m relay victory, where they posted a time of 4:19.04. Dodds also recorded a victory in the 400m, with a time of 1:00.55. In the field events,
Madelyn Rettler placed first in the triple jump, as she posted a 10.71m jump.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS… The Peacocks will travel to Kirksville, Mo. for the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships which will begin on Friday, May. 3 and go through Sunday, May. 5.
