Upper Iowa's volleyball team dominated a Northern Sun Conference match at the University of Mary on Friday night. The Peacocks won in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-11 and 25-10. The win pushed UIU's record to 8-4 on the season and 2-3 in the NSIC.

The Peacocks hit .231 in the match with 35 kills , while holding the Marauders to a -.042 clip with 20 kills and 24 attack errors. Upper Iowa's defense was led by
Kaci Beesecker (11 digs),
Nicole Pozorski (10 digs), and three players with three blocks from the hands of
Maggie Streightiff,
Sarah Johnson and
Kylie Willis.

Offensively,
Kylee Oldenburger registered a team-high 10 kills, while
Zoe Semelroth added nine kills and Streightiff chipped in seven. Pozorski kept the offense clicking with 29 assists in the three sets.

Upper Iowa will look for the weekend sweep on Saturday when they line up against the Beavers of Minot State University in Minot, N.D. at 2 p.m.
