Biography

2022: Featured in 18 matches, making 14 starts as a middle blocker... recorded a total of 103 kills for an average of 1.84 per set... finished second on the team with 49 total blocks, including 11 solo... added 16 digs and 5 aces... registered a season high 11 kills on two separate occasions vs. Cedarville (8/27/22) and vs. Augustana (9/17/22)... named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence...  Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award Winner.

2021: Made 13 appearances with 1 start as a middle blocker... registered 11 kills and 5 block assists... named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2020: Competitive season canceled due to the pandemic

2019: Played in all 30 games… ranked fourth on the team with 180 kills (1.67/set)… led all hitters with a .312 hitting efficiency… tallied 109 total blocks including 11 solos and 98 assists, all team-highs… finished second on the team with 28 aces… added 68 digs and five assists… recorded three games with double-figure kills including a career-high 14 against Wayne State on Oct. 12… registered 16 games with four or more total blocks highlighted by eight against Michigan Tech on Sept. 7... ranked tenth in blocks/set in NSIC play with 63 total blocks (0.89 blocks/set).

High School: Johnson holds the high school records for most blocks in a single season (159 in 2017) and total blocks after tallying 367 in her career. As a senior captain, Johnson recorded 97 total blocks, 21 solo blocks, 265 kills, 196 digs, and 31 service aces. She led the state in blocks both her sophomore (110) and junior (159) season and ranked third her senior year (97). The Elk River, Minn. native received all-conference honorable mention accolades as a sophomore and junior before being selected to the all-conference team as a senior. Johnson was also a member of the All-State Academic team as a senior.
