The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced the men's soccer postseason awards for fall 2022 on Thursday, as voted on by the league's coaches. Archie Watts was selected as an All-GLIAC Honorable Mention.

There were 11 athletes selected to the first team and 11 more named to the second team. Seven were selected for honorable mention.

"We are very excited for Archie to be receiving this award, as it is a reflection of all the hard work and commitment that he has put into improving as a player this season" said Head Coach Jason Carlson. "Our hope is that this milestone is just the beginning of a very bright future for Archie." 

Watts made an immediate impact in his Peacock debut. The Bristol, England native led the GLIAC with 82 saves for the 2022 season, along with four shutouts. Watts started all 17 games and led the team with 1,460 minutes played. Against St. Cloud State, the junior tallied himself an assist after sending a long ball to Omar Alfaro who netted the winning goal. Watts recorded a game-high of eight saves in two different matches, one against Northern Michigan and the other versus St. Cloud State.
