Game Two Recap | UIU - 6, Mary- 4Unlike the first game, the UIU offense found its rhythm early and often in game number two.
Katie Mnichowicz led off the game with a double to center field. She advanced to third on a sac-bunt from
Riley Kruel before
Megan Butler brought her home with a sacrifice-fly. The RBI was Butler's second of the year, while Mnichowicz picked up her 14th run scored this year - tied for the team-high with Kruel.

Whitney Williams drew a walk to load the bases.
Adrienna Olson followed her teammates' lead as she also drew a walk and in the process, scored a run.
Madie Wilkin put UIU up, 2-0, as she trotted home from third on the play. A Marauder mistake helped UIU extend that lead to three runs as the U-Mary catcher let a pitch get past her and
Shelby Crist stole home. Despite not gaining any single hit in the inning, the visitors scored two runs in the second.
The home team responded with a two-run RBI-double in the bottom of the second, but UIU still led, 3-2.
Both teams were quiet over the next two innings as the pitchers dominated the game. Then in the fifth, UIU's lead swelled to four thanks to a solo home run from Mnichowicz. Upper Iowa's shortstop jacked one over the right-field wall for her third bomb of the season. The Marauders didn't take long to respond as Allison Brown led-off the bottom of the inning with a solo shot of her own.
