The Upper Iowa Softball team announced the Peacocks will host this weekend's NSIC games inside the Eischeid Softball Complex in Fayette, Iowa. Although UIU will not be the designated home team in either weekend series, the Peacocks will play host to the Beavers of Bemidji State University (8-33, 2-22 NSIC) on Saturday in a twin bill starting at 1 p.m.

Then on Sunday, UIU will face off with the Golden Eagles of Minnesota Crookston (2-33, 1-23 NSIC) starting at 11 a.m. in another double-header in conference play.

Thanks to the most recent site changes, the Peacocks games this weekend will now be broadcast live online on the Peacock Sports Network (PSN). Currently, the Peacocks are in Sioux Falls, S.D. getting ready for their mid-week matchup with the Vikings of Augustana College (28-9, 15-5 NSIC). UIU will look to extend its five-game win streak against the Vikings with their double-header beginning at 3 p.m. in Sioux Falls, S.D. The Peacocks have not fared well in the past against Augie going 0-9 over the past four seasons. UIU does have winning records against BSU and UMC though. The Peacocks have never lost to the Beavers (11-0) and UIU is 9-3 against UMC since 2006.
