In the 149-pound match, Jordan Rinken used a productive second period to win 12-1. He earned a quick escape and takedown before earning three near fall points. He would take down his opponent two more times and earn points for a stalling infraction and riding time.

Bryce Lumzy toed the line in the next match taking his opponent down quickly and surrendering an escape to enter the second period leading 2-1. His opponent chose the down position and Lumzy would work him to his back and win by fall in the closing seconds.
