The Match Up... Upper Iowa will take the mat for their final dual of the season on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. in St. Cloud, Minn. The Peacocks will line up with the #1 Huskies of St. Cloud State for a rematch of their January meeting at the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals. SCSU claimed the first meeting by a 22-13 score. The Peacocks have won all six of their NSIC duals thus far thanks to wins at Northern State (41-4) and U-Mary (32-7) and at home against Southwest Minnesota State (28-9), Minnesota State (24-12), MSU Moorhead (37-7) and #5 Augustana (24-12). Upper Iowa has the opportunity to claim their fourth NSIC Championship with a victory at SCSU. The Huskies are also undefeated in the NSIC at 5-0 and have a dual with Minnesota State remaining after Sunday.
Peacocks in the Polls... Upper Iowa is currently ranked #3 in the latest NWCA Top 20 Poll and six individuals are also ranked in the top 8 in the nation. On the Horizon... Upper Iowa will return to St. Cloud in two weeks for the NCAA Super Regional on Sunday, Feb. 26.
