The Upper Iowa softball team continued non-conference action Saturday afternoon by playing a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams at the Rochester Regional Stadium and Bubble in Rochester, Minn.  The #18-ranked Mavericks of Minnesota State and #8-ranked Warriors of Winona State both flexed their nationally ranked muscles over Upper Iowa by defeating the Peacocks 13-0 and 17-1, repectively.

The Peacocks will get their chance at redemption against both teams tomorrow as the three squads complete play for the weekend.  UIU will battle Minnesota State at 10 a.m. before taking on Winona State at noon.
