Tonight’s Dual with the Marauders of U-Mary...

Upper Iowa welcomes the University of Mary tonight for the teams’ first Northern Sun Conference dual of the season. The Peacocks are coming off a 1-2 run at the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals where UIU defeated #10 Grand Canyon, before losing close decisions to #1 Nebraska-Omaha and #9 Central Oklahoma.

Leading the way...

The Peacocks got off to great starts in each of their three duals thanks to Trevor Franklin (125) and Kyle Pedrett (133). At the National Duals, the pair combined to give UIU a 9-0 lead twice and a 7-0 lead in their final dual.

New faces...

Upper Iowa has gotten big wins from new faces to the varsity lineup including Zach Rosol (285), Bryce Lumzy (165), Carl Broghammer (197), Wade Gobin (174), and Winston Robbins (157).

Scouting the Marauders...

U-Mary comes into tonight’s dual with just two losses on their record. The team lost to Minot State (24-18) and Jamestown (28-11) in November. The last time U-Mary was on the mat, the Marauders were at the Husky Open in St. Cloud.
