FAYETTE, Iowa - Upper Iowa track and field heads to Indianapolis for the GLVC Indoor Championships on Saturday, Feb. 28, and Sunday, March 1. Coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday and 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT on Sunday at the Athletics & Recreation Center (ARC) on the campus of the University of Indianapolis.

LAST TIME OUT
The Peacocks last competed at the Liz Wuertz Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 21. Junior Haylie Hutchinson broke her own school record in the triple jump that she had at last season's GLVC Indoor Championships. Hutchinson recorded a jump of 10.99m (36' 00.75") to take first place, surpassing her jump of 10.97m (35' 11.89") to end the 2025 indoor season.

The junior also posted a season-best time of 9.41 seconds in the 60m hurdles to take fifth. She was also a part of the 4x400m team with Jillian Dodds, Jasheana Tracey and Eryn Sabelka that finished sixth with a time of 4:14.00.

Freshman Aaliyah Comadore posted a personal-best time of 8.08 seconds in the 60m prelims, and she finished seventh in the finals with a time of 8.21 seconds. She also took eighth in the long jump at 5.01m (16' 5.25"). Freshman Gracee Tompkins finished seventh in the shot put with a throw of 11.23m (36' 10.25"). 

MEET INFORMATION
Action starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the combined events of the women's pentathlon starting at 9 a.m. Running events on Saturday start at 4 p.m. with the women's 60m hurdles prelims. Women's field events on Saturday start at 6 p.m. with the weight throw and the long jump. 

On Sunday, field events begin at 11:30 with the triple jump. Running events start at 1:30 p.m. with the women's mile. 

The two-day event will once again be streamed live on the GLVC Sports Network with nearly 13 hours of coverage made available to viewers for $15 at GLVCSN.com, on the GLVCSN iOS/Android mobile apps, as well as OTT apps on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Android TV. Coverage will begin on Saturday, Feb. 28 at approximately 3:30 PM Eastern Time (ET), while coverage will begin on Sunday, Mar. 1 at approximately 11 AM ET.

Lewis secured its 12th overall women's title and sixth in a row last year with 182.5 points on the weekend, 69.5 points more than runner-up Lincoln University (113). The Flyers own the women's lead with their 12 titles, followed by SIUE with five, while former league member Bellarmine (3) and UIndy (1) have also captured past crowns.

2025 GLVC INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Peacocks finished 12th at the 2025 GLVC Championships. Hutchinson led the way for the Peacocks, breaking the school triple jump record at 10.97m (35' 11.89"). She also finished ninth in the 60m hurdle prelims. 

Hutchinson, Dodds, Tracey and Sabelka added an eighth-place finish in the 4x400m relay. The squad recorded a season-best time of 4:10.03.
