Upper Iowa concluded the Emporia State Relays in 19th place, accumulating four team points amongst the 25-team event.
Haylie Hutchinson achieved the Peacocks best placement as she took seventh overall in the triple jump with a 11.30m mark. Impressive to know that she recorded the 36th best triple jump by a Division Two female athlete this season. She added another seventh-place finish in the 400m hurdles as she crossed the finish line in 1:06.67. Hutchinson earned two team points in both events, accumulating four on the day.
Kiana Maghanoy finished two spots in front of
Myah Brinker in the women's discus throw, as she took ninth place with a throw of 38.60m. She also placed 15th in Women's Hammer with a throw of 41.01m.
Myah Brinker recorded an eleventh place finish in the women's discus throw with a 37.44m throw. She added a 24th-place finish in the hammer throw as she recorded a 36.87m throw.
Jordan Sekafetz came in 23rd place in the women's long jump with a jump of 4.47m.
Carolina Regalado,
Jillian Dodds, Sekafetz and Hutchinson garnered a fifteenth place finish in the 4x100m relay with a team time of 51.56.
The Peacocks will return to Iowa for the Luther Invite, which will be held on Saturday, Apr. 5 at 11 a.m.
