THIS WEEK IN PEACOCK WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD… The Upper Iowa Peacocks will head over to Emporia, Kansas as they take on the Emporia State Relays. The meet is set to begin on Friday, Mar. 28 at 3 p.m. and will continue, Saturday at 11 a.m.

2023-24 GLVC CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP… Last year, Upper Iowa closed out their first season in the GLVC with a tenth-place finish out of 14 teams at the GLVC Championships, where they scored 15 points as a team. In the running events,
Haylie Hutchinson and
Jordan Sekafetz each qualified for 100m hurdles. In the finals, Hutchinson placed fifth with a time of 15.15 and Sekafetz added an eighth-place finish with a time of 16.02. Hutchinson also qualified to the 400m hurdles finals, garnering a seventh-place mark in a time of 1:08.01. In the field events, Hutchinson achieved a fifth-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 11.31m.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS… The Peacocks will venture to Decorah, Iowa. to compete in the Luther Invite. The meet will be held Saturday, Apr. 5 at 11 a.m.
