Peacock men's wrestling is set to compete at the Super Region V on Saturday in Sioux Falls, S.D., on the campus of Augustana. The first session is set to begin at 10 a.m. Teams competing this weekend in Sioux Falls are Augustana, UMary, Northern State, Southwest Minnesota State, Minnesota State, St. Cloud State, MSU Moorhead, Minot State, Parkside, Sioux Falls and Upper Iowa.

RECAP OF THE GLVC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Upper Iowa men's wrestling earned a second-place finish at the GLVC Wrestling Championships on Sunday, Feb. 16, going 1-1 on the day. The Peacocks received a bye in the quarterfinals before defeating #4 Maryville 26-14 in the semifinals. Upper Iowa faced host #2 McKendree in the championship match but fell to them in a 23-17 decision.
LATEST NWCA RANKINGS
Upper Iowa men's wrestling is tied for 24th in the latest edition of the NWCA Poll released earlier this week. The Peacocks have five individual wrestlers ranked in the top 15 of their respective weight classes:
Lawson Losee (174),
Ethen Doty (149),
Colter Bye (184),
Joshua Gaye (285) and
Geoffery Freeman (197).
Losee is listed highest among Peacock wrestlers in eighth, followed by Doty and Bye, who are ninth. Gaye entered the rankings at 14th, while Freeman hung on and took the 15th-place spot.
The most ranked wrestlers come out of Super Region 5, with 38, including the most #1s with four wrestling at SR5 schools. Super Region 3 has 34 ranked wrestlers and the most ranked teams in the Top 25 with six. The 33 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) ranked wrestlers are most be a conference, with the NSIC, Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) all featuring four ranked programs in the Top 25.
ALL-CONFERENCE HONOREES
Upper Iowa men's wrestling had ten members earn All-GLVC honors.
Colter Bye (184) was the sole Peacock named to the First Team, while
Dawson Schmit (133),
Ethen Doty (149),
Dalton Schams (157), and
Lawson Losee (174) earned spots on the All-GLVC Second Team.
Jackson Heaston (125),
Ryan Wehner (141),
Collin Altensey (165),
Geoffery Freeman (197), and
Clayton Ours (285) were recognized on the Third Team.
Doty was named Upper Iowa's GLVC Spalding Sportsmanship Award recipient.
