The Peacock men's wrestling program is hosting a 2-day wrestling camp on July 31 and August 1 for both boys and girls entering grades 6-12. The camp will be directed by UIU Assistant Wrestling Coach Spencer Mooberry and TigerHawk Wrestling Club's Chris Lundgren and feature a pair of high-level clinicians, Mikey Caliendo and Chase Luensman.
Caliendo was a senior with the Iowa Hawkeyes this past season posting a 22-4 record with a 15-3 mark in duals. He closed out his season with a second-place finish at the NCAA Division I Championships at 165 pounds to earn All-American honors for the fourth time in his tremendous career.
Luensman was the NCAA Division II National Champion in 2023 and the runner-up at the same championships in 2024. The Monticello, Iowa native qualified for the NCAA Championships four times and earned three All-American honors in leading Upper Iowa wrestling during his time with the Peacocks.
The cost for participation in the camp is $150; which includes a t-shirt and lunch each day. Please direct questions to the Camp Directors at the following contacts: Spencer Mooberry -
