INDIANAPOLIS - Darryl Overstreet Jr., Shaquille Roman and Nathan Behne earned Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams GLVC Player of the Week honors on Monday. This marks the first time in program history the Upper Iowa football team has won all three awards in the same week.
Overstreet Jr. threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns while adding 54 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. This marks the third time in his career that he's won GLVC Offensive Player of the Week and his first time winning it this season.
Roman totaled 2.5 sacks and had an interception against McKendree. He has now won GLVC Defensive Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks after totaling two sacks in the win over William Jewell.
Behne was 2-for-2 on field goals and 7-for-7 on extra points to total 13 against the Bearcats. This is his third time being named the GLVC Special Teams Player of the Week in his career. It's the second time this season after he was recognized after the Southwest Baptist victory two weeks ago.
The Peacocks have now been featured in the weekly honors each of the last three weeks. UIU has now totaled seven GLVC Players of the Week this year. Mante Morrow and Trevor Thompson have also earned weekly honors this year.
Upper Iowa is back in Harms-Eischeid Stadium this weekend against Quincy (Ill.) (5-4, 3-3 GLVC) for Senior Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.

- Aided a defense that held McKendree to a season-low 279 yards
- McKendree also had a season-low 132 passing yards and a season-low seven points
- Helped the Peacocks win seven games in back-to-back seasons for the first time in program history
#38 Nathan Behne (K, 6-1, 190, So., Jefferson, Iowa / Greene County HS) – Upper Iowa
- Was 2-for-2 on field goals and 7-for-7 on extra points in UIU's 57-7 win over McKendree
- Totaled a season-high 13 points in the game
- Made a 40-yard field goal to end the first half and a 38-yard field goal in the third quarter
- Totaled two punts for 93 yards (46.5 average), including a punt fair caught at the six-yard line
- Made McKendree have an average start of their own 21-yard line after kicking off nine times
- Helped the Peacocks win seven games in back-to-back seasons for the first time in program history
