FAYETTE, Iowa - Upper Iowa men's and women's golf competes in the Lewis University Flyers Fall Intercollegiate on Oct. 6-7. The tournament takes place at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont, Illinois.
LAST TIME OUT
Upper Iowa last competed at Winona State's The Jewel Invitational on Sept. 22-23. Both teams finished in eighth place after improving in the second round.Â
Addison Weber led the women's squad, tying for 10th place, shooting 152 (+10). She shot 72 (+1) on Tuesday's second round, marking the second-lowest individual round of her career. Her two-round total was also the second-lowest of her career.
Lizzy Ellis tied for 32nd with a score of 162 (+20). That marked her best two-round score this season. Delaney Martin tied for 32nd at 166 (+24). The Peacocks finished with a total score of 649 (+81).Â
On the men's side, Christian Burkhart tied for 27th with a career-best score of 146 (+2). He shot 70 (-2) in the second round for his career-best individual round. It beat his previous best of 70 (E) earlier this season at The Mule.
Ethan Cahalan tied for 33rd with a total of 147 (+3). William Benedict and Owen Davison each tied for 39th at 149 (+5). The Peacocks shot a total of 588 (+12) with rounds of 299 (+11) and 289 (+1).Â
2024 FLYERS FALL INTERCOLLEGIATE
Only the Upper Iowa men competed at last season's Flyers Fall Intercollegiate. The team finished 14th out of 17 teams.
Clayton Liddle led the Peacocks, tying for 46th place with a score of 159 (+15). Dylan Burns was one stroke behind, tying for 50th. Davison placed 58th, while Burkhart and Benedict tied for 66th.

The Peacocks finish out the fall season at the Bearcat Dual Gender on Oct. 20-21. The tournament takes place in Caseyville, Illinois, at Far Oaks Golf Club.
