Upper Iowa got off to a hot start in their indoor season as they recorded four first place finishes and three second place finishes at the Winter Classic.
Sophomore
Haylie Hutchinson placed first in the triple jump three times last season, and she added another first place finish in the event with a 10.74m jump. Hutchinson also placed first overall in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.43 and she reached the podium in all three of her individual events as she added a third-place mark in the 60m with a time of 8.13.
Junior
Jillian Dodds recorded a first-place finish in the 200m, crossing the finish line in 28.23.
Junior
Myah Brinker achieved first place in the weight throw, posting a 14.52m throw. She added a fourth-place finish in the women's shot put with a personal-record setting 10.62m throw.
Senior
Kiana Maghanoy finished right behind Brinker in the weight throw as she placed second with a personal-record setting 13.51m throw.
 Junior
Eryn Sabelka recorded Upper Iowa's third and final personal record on the day as she placed second in the 400m, with a time of 1:05.08.

Jasheana Tracey garnered a second-place finish in the 4x400m relay as they completed the race in 4:21.23.
Senior
Carolina Regalado placed fourth overall in both of her events with times of 8.33 in the 60m and 29.34 in the 200m.
Senior
Jordan Sekafetz recorded a fourth-place mark in the 60m hurdles as she crossed the finish line in ten seconds flat. She added a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a 4.54m jump and posted an eighth-place finish in the 60m with a time of 8.75.
In the first event of her collegiate career,
Jasheana Tracey posted a time of 1:09.17 in the 400m, placing fifth overall.
Senior
Genevieve Chenoweth placed ninth in the shot put with a 9.97m throw and senior
Angelina Monfrey added a 15
th-place mark with a 4.85m throw.
The Peacocks will be back in action next month as they compete in the Chelsey Henkenius Invite. The meet will be held in Waverly, Iowa, at Wartburg College and is set to begin on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 10:30 a.m.
