THIS WEEKEND IN MEN'S WRESTLING
Peacock men's wrestling has a busy road weekend ahead with three upcoming duals. They open GLVC action on Friday versus Quincy at 6 p.m., followed by the BVU Open on Saturday at Buena Vista University starting at 9 a.m. The team concludes their weekend on Sunday against Minnesota State at 5 p.m.

REVIEW OF THE LAST ACTION
Upper Iowa men's wrestling hosted Sioux Falls and Newman in Fayette last weekend for the team's first duals of the season. The Peacocks versed the Cougars first and downed them 32-12 before nearly grabbing a shutout over the Jets as they powered through to a 44-3 victory. UIU improved to 2-0 on the season.

THE OPEN MAT RANKINGS
In the latest rankings by The Open Mat, Upper Iowa was listed 23
rd (2-0) in Dual Team Rankings, while three individual Peacocks were ranked in the top 20 in their respective weight classes. Listed were
Colter Bye (184) in 10
th followed by
Ethen Doty (149) in 12
th and
Ryan Wehner (141) in 16
th.
TEAM LEADERS
Ethen Doty leads the Peacocks with 11 wins on the season with five victories by fall.
Geoffery Freeman is tied with Doty for most falls on the year with five.
Owen Denstad paces the Peacocks with 36 takedowns, followed by
Ryan Wehner and
Jackson Heaston with 25 apiece. Denstad and
Braxten Westendorf have each recorded four wins by tech fall.
