Upper Iowa brought seven wrestlers to Decorah, Iowa for their second match of the season at the Luther Open, where the Peacocks garnered 36 points as a team.

Junior Tiffany White thrived in her first open event of the season as she placed 2nd overall in the 207-weight class. White won by fall (0:21) over Camyrn Klug of North Iowa Area CC, and followed that up with a consecutive win by fall (3:25), against fellow teammate Toyia Griffin. She continued to dominate the competition in the semifinals, defeating Savannah Sistad of Simpson College by an 11-5 decision. In the Championship match, Martha Hinneh of Southeast CC pulled out a win by fall (1:39).

Junior Toyia Griffin also began the open with a win by fall (5:05) in the first round over Alexa Ramierez of Southeast CC. Following her quarterfinal defeat to White by fall (3:25), Griffin was victorious by tech fall (10-0) in the second round of consolations against Teagan McKinnie of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Brantajia Loggins of Augsburg won by fall (0:47) over Griffin in the next round, and Griffin concluded the open on a high note as she won by seventh-place match by fall (1:17) over Cynthia Ellis of Iowa Central CC.

Freshman Makayla Matson dropped by fall (2:41) in the first round against Aneth Campos of Iowa Central CC. After receiving a bye, Matson bounced back and recorded a win by fall (0:12) over Lexi Timmerman of Iowa Lakes CC. Mia Kurth would then win by tech fall (10-0) over Matson, before Aneth Campos of Iowa Central CC won by fall (1:24) over Matson in the seventh-place match.
