The Peacock women and men's track and field teams competed in five finals on Saturday during the 111^th Drake Relays at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Upper Iowa competed in the college division.
 
Saturday's slate for UIU opened with the men's triple jump; Jaylen Hobson, along with four other competitors, was unable to land a jump. 

Cassiddy Wilson was up next for the women's team and put together an eighth place time of  1:06.21 in the 400-meter hurdles. 

After running a 100-meter dash in 12.88 seconds during the prelims on Friday, Ellie Loesch took seventh in the women's 100-meter final  in a time of 12.44 shaving nearly a half-second off her time. 

Each team also raced in 4x400-meter relay with the women placing 13th in a time of 4:02.98 and the men placing 28th in a time of 3:28.62. Wilson and Kaden Ludwig posted the best split times in their relays at 59.20 and 51.48 seconds, respectively.

The Peacock will take a short trip to Decorah, Iowa next Saturday, May 1 to compete in the Norse Invite hosted by Luther College.
